And no, there will be no Official Academic Purpose to any of this.

Add _being John Malkovich_. It's a movie about outsiders and the slightly wacked that has a far ranging ring of truth by the end. Loved it. Watched it again and again.

Also _A Beautiful Mind_

Revenge of the Nerds sounds pretty bad. I vote for that and Sneakers, which I feel like I may have seen... or the first Back to the Future, which I somehow missed...

How can I choose!? I've never personally seen Dr. Strangelove (it's long been on my list of movies to watch) but I'd also throw my support behind Gattaca. Pretty much anythingon that list, however, I'd totally vote for.

Also, as far as excellent movies go, what about "Last Man on Earth" starring Vincent Price, which is an adaptation of "I Am Legend" far closer to the source material than the recent Will Smith film?

Don't know, but usually it's been a Wednesday or a Thursday - evenings when the students don't already have other plans. Anything could happen, though. I'll let you know.

Ah! Bad geeky sci-fi fantasy movie = Chronicles of Riddick. It's really awful, in that awesome sort of way.
